Indiana Leaning Paths
How to Print Certificates
You can view training progress and completion in the My Certificates section of Indiana Learning Paths. If the training has a passing score and meets all criteria for completion, there is a completion date next to the lesson. In the Transcript section, lessons are listed in alphabetical order with a blue arrow to download certificates. Trainings that can be retaken also have certificates in the "Eligible for Retake" section. To locate and print the certificate, do the following:
1. Log into your I-LEAD account.
2. Click Start your Indiana Learning Paths on the I-LEAD Dashboard.
3. Click My Certificates.
4. Select the Transcript tab at the top of the page.
5. Find the lesson you completed; most titles are in alphabetical order.
6. Go to the far right of the selected lesson and click on the blue arrow button. Mobile users may need to turn their phone sideways to enable landscape mode.

7. The file will pop up as a downloadable PDF.
8. Click the PDF file with your name and the lesson title.
9. A new tab will open with the certificate.
10. In the upper right of the screen, click either the white arrow to download it or the printer button to print it.

Checking Completions
There are a few reasons why a certificate will not download from the Learner Report or Transcript tabs in My Certificates:
- Completion Date: Any completed course has a date listed under this section. If the completion date is missing, the lesson is incomplete and needs to be finished. Go back into the lesson and click Yes to resume where you left off.
- Expiration Date: If the certificate expires and the course can be retaken, there is an expiration date. Some examples of renewable courses include Safe Sleep, Child Abuse or Universal Precautions. A new REGISTER button appears when the lesson is due for renewal. The module needs to be completed after the certificate expiration date to receive a new completion certificate. The credits for a renewed lesson count once per year.
(Note: Safe Sleep 1 and 2 are technically only required once. However, they were made to expire if the licensing consultant requests that they are redone. Safe Sleep can be retaken as early as a month from the original completion date but only counts for the most recent certificate issued post-completion.)
- Mobile Users: Some mobile devices are not compatible with the website. If the completion date is listed but it will not open the file to download on the device, you may need to switch to a computer to download or print the certificate.

Note: Managers on Indiana Learning Paths can print anyone’s certificate whose account is connected on the Associated Educator roster. To get on the roster, new educators must accept an educator invitation that was sent to them by their provider admin.
Course Expirations and Eligible for Retakes: Only courses that say “Eligible for Retake” and list an expiration date can be redone for a certificate. Multiple pages show certificates from past years or course collections. If a certificate is missing from the My Courses section, check “Eligible for Retake” to view older completed trainings. If a course can be retaken, a new REGISTER button will appear the day after the course expires. You can retake courses that have not expired or are not required to be completed annually for refresher knowledge, but this will not generate a new certificate of completion.
